ASTOT is a multidisciplinary not for profit society dedicated to increase awareness of Tethered Oral Tissues (TOT), by providing information regarding effective diagnosis & treatment from infancy to adulthood to Health care professionals.ASTOT offers the opportunity to share information through evidence - based research and proven clinical experience to health professionals who seek to understand the nuances of TOT. We advocate for both safe and effective treatment for those who are affected by TOT and aim to provide resources and educational opportunities for the health care professionals who treat and rehabilitate individuals with TOT, as well as those who support and refer affected individuals.
We welcome all abstracts for review, including RCTs, clinical audits, case presentations, literature reviews and meta-analyses.
All abstracts will be reviewed and scored by 2 members of the ASTOT Committee. Once submitting authors have been notified of abstract acceptance (1st December 2023) they must register to attend the meeting by Thursday 25th January 2024. If submitting authors have not registered by this time abstracts will be removed from the programme. This ensures that the programme can be finalised in advance of the meeting to allow congress attendees access to the programme and to ensure there is appropriate time for abstracts to be prepared for publication.
